I think it is going to be really tough to determine whether we should buy, sell or stay put at the deadline. We got until the bye week to figure it out. After this stretch, we'll have to have more games played than the entire EC. With teams having games in hand, I'd put the threshold at no more than 3 points out of a playoff spot. With the EC so tight, it will be a sellers market. Teams that ultimately miss the playoffs will be buyers and 1st round picks in this year's draft will turn out to be lottery picks. Rather see Kane go than Foligno, but the way Kane is playing, I don't want to see either go. At least we can say this is getting exciting and it's February. That's a start. I hope they are in a position to stay put at the deadline. Let's see if this group has enough perseverance to force themselves into the playoffs.

Bailey is producing at almost a 40 goal rate in the AHL. Baptiste has 3 goals in his last 20. Bailey needs an actual chance to produce.

Jesus Christ.

Agreed, and last night I saw at least three times when he was clear going into the offensive zone and he was obviously interfered with/obstructed.

I understand that's reality but it's frustrating as hell to watch.

good points...if the sabres are in the hunt come trade deadline, I can't see them trading away a forward considering they've just gotten healthy as a group...I could see them moving Franson and/or acquiring a fourth-line center on a small-scale deal...i'm pretty sure Kulikov is here for the rest of the season, and maybe beyond if he continues to play like he has been the past few games

theres some things one is just better off not eating as a gluten free vegan substitute.
Pizza is one of them.

Derek Grant was placed on waivers by Nashville on Sunday.
Grant saw just six games with Nashville after getting picked up off of waivers from Buffalo. In those six games he posted one assist with a fight. In 41 games overall this season he has four assists with 24 PIMs, 24 hits, and 25 blocks.

yeah. Marty pointed that out.
Loved hearing him do color last night.
Nice to see the team playing the way Murray envisioned it.
Bylsma needs to learn how to coach through injuries though, because they will always happen. may be not at the severity that we had to start the season, but if the goal is to become a playoff team, we have to expect them.
I kinda feel like we should sweeten the deal and offer something extra to Vegas to take Bogo off our hands.

that sucks. i got the feeling Murray actually wanted him in Rochester to help out and we lost him. i have to imagine we cant pick him back up and try to send him down again, can we?

Watched the highlights. Eichel is just dominating right now. He's also not even getting the bounces yet.

He's going to have a 4-5 point night before this season is over with

imo, bogo will be beside McCabe when he returns and those two made up the sabres most consistent pairing last season

Only if we are the only team claiming him.

Also, that resets our order to be last for waiver claims, something i feel Murray was waiting to around trade deadline to use, when a trade happens and I team waivers a "better" player. Will see what happens.
